Quixotic is one of the lofts inside the Cedars Corner Lofts. The 2 story complex was built in 1923. The historic Hotel Newland was on the top floor, and a Piggly Wiggly (old grocery store) was on the bottom. The remnants of both signs still remain on the building today. The Hotel Newland was also used as a brothel, as the Cedars became somewhat of a Red Light District back in the 1920's. The building was converted into lofts in the 1980's, and today is owned by the mighty urban pioneer, Paul D. Cook.
